Any Changes made during Filming...

Changes and Mishaps:

• Due to lack of attendance from actors, we were forced to reduce actors(Pshycos) from 3 actors to just two.
• We also had to remove the face mask from Pshyco because we could not buy mask in time for shooting.
• We also had to extend our shooting time by up to 1 week due to weather problems, attendance...., also because of sudden weather change, we had to shoot most of our film in snow conditions.
• Due to shortage of time for shooting, we decided to cut the movie short and end it with a cliffhanger. So without having the physco, we will just show the lady being followed. We also had to redo our shot list and production schedule. We now changed the title of the film to STALKER.
• We also had to make changes to our storyboard and cut a few bits out, and changed some of the location aswell. We had to take out some of the shots.

Main Story Line

Basic Story line:

One dark night a young girl is on her way home after a night out with her friends. She is in a hurry or else she will miss her bus and the buses take forever to come so she decides to take a short cut through this car park where no body usually enters as murders has comenced in this place in the past. As she's in a Hurry, the brave girl plucks up her courage and decides to take this short cut. As she enters the car park, she realises how spooky the car park is but decides not to look around and keep on walking. There may be lights around, but it isnt enough to lighten the car park.
She starts walking through the car park until she hears weird laughters around, she looks trying to find out who it is making all that noise but no body is to be seen. she begins to walk faster getting very scared and tensed, she goes straight for the exits at the opposite end but by the time shes get there, she realises its locked. The girl gets very frightened wondering what’s going to happen then three masked psychos come out behind her laughing, coming closer to her, she grabs her bag towards her chest and starts to tremble with fear. The three masked psychos surround her and carry on laughing when suddenly her phone starts to ring comes. The young girl goes to answer her phone but she is still shaking and the phone falls to ground. The three psychos begins to start laughing again and the young girl approaches to pick up her phone from the ground. She trys to pik it up but the phycos stop her as she trys to bend over, and soon after a blade goes through her neck and she is fallen to the ground.

She decides to take a short cut through this car park where no body enters this young girl is very brave nothing can scare her well that’s what we thought… As she entered the car park that nobody enters she saw cars and street lights this car park was very spooky looking. It may have lights but the were puddles of water on the floor, leaks through the ceiling. She is walking through the car park that no body enters when she hears footsteps she looks around trying to find out who it is making all that noise but no body is seen, she begins to walk faster getting very scared and tensed she goes straight for the exist, the next day the same thing happens she gets followed once again but this time it wasn’t in the car park it was in her college this carried on for a while and the became scared until the d last day that she got followed she got killed she saw the stalkers face but got killed the very same day by the STALKER

Preliminary Exercise

Preliminary Exercise

Our preliminary exercise was about a little scene on a birthday scenario where a gift is being exchanged with a few dialogues.
The actor in this exercise was Mohammed Saifur Rahman who was the boy who comes to his friends house on her birthday to give her a birthday gift.
The actress in this exercise was Salma Begum, it was her birthday and she was quiet depressed because the thought her close friend forgot about her birthday.
During our clip, we had to make sure we had 3 important shots included:

• Reverse Shot
• Match on Action
• 180 Degrees Rule

Shelina's Evaluation

I think the preliminary exercise went very well this is because we learnt how to use the camera very efficiently allowing us to be more comfortable with it.
After filming it we then edited it changing little mistakes that we made and added other animation or effects to it to make it more of a movie. We made out scene into a film episode and ended it where Salma opens her gift, this is because it makes the audience wants to know what happened next.
Me and Saifur worked as a group and did our part of the exercise to finish it and we helped each other out. My main weakness was doing the camera shots this is because I don’t feel comfortable using the camera so Saifur helped me use the camera and I became more comfortable, I helped him with the editing and as a group we completed it.

Saifur's Evaluation

In my opinion, the Preliminary Exercise went according to plan. The reason is because all our group people knew what they were doing and made no fuss about anything. Salma and myself were able to act according to the script and made sure that we relate it back to the story line. We were able to do all our film shooting within a lesson.

When it came to editing, we knew what changes had to be made, we made sure all of our members had a chance to do some editing so they get some practise. We added different types of animations and affects to captivate the audience. In the end, we made sure that the gift is opened and not leaving the audience wandering what the gift it.

Some weakness that i had was that i was not speaking out loudly whilst i was acting and for this we had to re-shoot the scene but making sure my voice is loud and clear enough which i was able to achieve. Shelina also learnt how to use the camera, the tripod and we were able to finish the task on time.

Horror/Thriller genre research

Movie Research
The movie is going to be a Horror/Thriller genre. This Genre is the most captivated as it will entertain the audience more then other types of Genres.
Examples of movies is based on a man with a mask, a physco, a stalker etc who goes around killing people for no such reasons. Example movies are:
